The RIDGID OSHA compatible kit with HEPA-media filter and cyclonic pre-separator dust bags includes 1 RIDGID VF6000 5-layer allergen filter and 2 RIDGID VF3602 premium cyclonic dust bags. When installed together (in select RIDGID vacs listed below), this kit is OSHA Silica Table 1 Compatible for certain dry dust collector control methods and HEPA-filtered vacuum control methods (1926.1153) within the limitations of their airflow performance. Included dust bags allow for cyclonic airflow, resulting in pre-separation and more equal distribution of fine particles and debris throughout the bag. Dust bag disposal is clean and easy with sealing collar feature. Included VF6000 filter is made from HEPA media. Compatible vacs listed below.
- HEPA-level filtration is achieved when the VF6000 HEPA media filter and VF3602 cyclonic dust bag are installed together in select RIDGID 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. wet dry vacs
- Removes 99.97% of all particles 0.3 microns and larger from the air
- Kit is OSHA silica table 1 compatible when used with select RIDGID wet/dry vacs 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. and hand-held power saws for cutting fiber cement-board (with blade/wheel diameter of 4 in. or less) and handheld grinders for mortar removal (i.e. tuck-pointing) and uses other than mortal removal

- For OSHA silica table 1 compatibility, employer/user must confirm that the airflow requirements as specified by the tool manufacturer are satisfied by the airflow rate from the RIDGID vacuum, all select vacs provide a minimum of 100 CFM
- For OSHA silica table 1 compatibility, employer/user must check the grinding wheel diameter when selecting a RIDGID wet/dry vac to ensure 25 CFM per inch of wheel diameter criteria is met

OSHA compatible kit with HEPA-media filter and cyclonic pre-separator dust bags. Includes the VF6000 5-layer allergen filter and 2 VF3602 premium cyclonic dust bags. Used together provide HEPA-filtered quality dust control. I have been using the allergen filter with the standard dust control bags for years now, but the included dust bags in this kit allows for cyclonic airflow. Simply put, air flow is directed to one direction as it enters the vacuum and standard bags have one side that fills and has to backflow to the other side. Now there’s flow around (ture circler bag) the per-filter bag (cyclone) resulting in higher quality pre-separation and more equal distribution of fine particles and debris throughout the bag. Now I use my vacuum for just about everything, during drilling, sawing and sanding to control the dust in the shop. one thing I noticed was better flow or in this case vacuum suctions, it just sounded and seemed to pick up more during these activities. This is a must for me for in the house repairs that require on the spot cutting, sanding and for general clean-up around the home. I have a range of RIDGID tools, all are high quality and have yet to fail me.

Fit and work well. I used this HEPA kit in my Ridgid 16 gallon vac to control dust when sanding fiberglass. Both the filter and bag fit my vac well, and as far as I could tell, they did an excellent job of catching the fine fiberglass dust. I really like using the Ridgid bags (both HEPA and regular dust bags), because they make emptying the vac less of a mess, and also help keep the filter from getting clogged. Try the bag system once, and you won’t do without them again.

This HEPA filter and dust bag kit is a great solution for a cleaner work environment. Suction with my Ridgid 16 gallon vac is still great even with the extra filtration. Installation was easy, and the bags seal on the inlet port well. The cyclonic dust bags help the filter to last longer, and hold lots of debris too. They seem much more efficient than the typical U-shaped dust bags I’ve used with my vacuum before.

The OSHA Compatible Kit with (1) HEPA-Media Filter and (2) Cyclonic Pre-Separator Dust Bags is a great addition to your shop vac. I was going to be starting a project that involved a lot of joint compound sanding which generates a lot of fine dust. a typical shop vac ends up not being able to filter the dust and exhausting it back into the room.I installed the bag and then the new filter which only took a few moments. I was able to vacuum up a lot of super fine dust without any of it reentering in the room. It is great a filtering super fine particles.Its a great addition and I plan on using it for many projects that previously I could not use the shop vac for. Only negative is the price.
