The RIDGID OSHA compatible kit with HEPA-media filter and cyclonic pre-separator dust bags includes 1 RIDGID VF6000 5-layer allergen filter and 2 RIDGID VF3602 premium cyclonic dust bags. When installed together (in select RIDGID vacs listed below), this kit is OSHA Silica Table 1 Compatible for certain dry dust collector control methods and HEPA-filtered vacuum control methods (1926.1153) within the limitations of their airflow performance. Included dust bags allow for cyclonic airflow, resulting in pre-separation and more equal distribution of fine particles and debris throughout the bag. Dust bag disposal is clean and easy with sealing collar feature. Included VF6000 filter is made from HEPA media. Compatible vacs listed below.
- HEPA-level filtration is achieved when the VF6000 HEPA media filter and VF3602 cyclonic dust bag are installed together in select RIDGID 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. wet dry vacs
- Removes 99.97% of all particles 0.3 microns and larger from the air
- Kit is OSHA silica table 1 compatible when used with select RIDGID wet/dry vacs 12 Gal. to 16 Gal. and hand-held power saws for cutting fiber cement-board (with blade/wheel diameter of 4 in. or less) and handheld grinders for mortar removal (i.e. tuck-pointing) and uses other than mortal removal

Used it for drywall dust extraction and I swear not one dust particle came out of the vacuum outlet. After using two bags, the filter barely had any dust on it. Highly recommend when working with fine dust

Don’t let the price steer you away from this product! When it comes to air quality and your health, do not skimp . I’ve been in the construction industry for close to 40 years and when dealing with dust you have no idea what’s in it .From lead to asbestos . I’ve used the standard Ridgid bag and filter for general cleanup and this HEPA bag and filter for demolition and sanding . Safety first!

This kit fit my 16 gallon shop vac and controlled the dust that usually expelled out the exhaust port. Before when I used my vacuum in my garage, it would clean up debris very good but also create a fine dust cloud out the exhaust that settled on everything. Now with this easy to install hepa-media filter and the dust bag, zero dust is expelled out the exhaust port. Now I can use my shop vac without worrying about a dust cloud coating everything and causing more clean up. This is a very useful kit for your shop vac.

Great filter that did the job it was supposed to do. We recently reroofed our home but the project left our walk up attic a total mess with dust and roofing grit. I purchased this filter for my Rigid shop vac & it did an excellent job of keeping the exit dust to a minimum and sucking up all the grit & dust on the floor & boxes stored in there. My wife has allergies & she raved about this filter.

I am certain this would work well with certain models of Ridgid vacs. However, I have one that is on the list for compatibility on the description in the app and website. However, the box has a much smaller list for compatible models. I assume this only works well with the models listed on thr box. My vac has a plastic piece on the air intake piece inside the tank that diverts air/dust/debris. Makes for a terrible fit of the vac bag. The system does seem to work though, just not as great as I thought it would

This so-called kit contains more material than is required for this particular vacuum. Only the cartridge filter was needed, but, this kit was the only product on the floor, therefore, am stuck with two extra canister filter bags that can’t be used.
