Expand your RIDGID wet dry vac’s versatility with the RIDGID Vacuum Pump. If you’re restoring a flooded basement, this is an ideal tool to eliminate water without transporting the vacuum up and down stairs. Install the pump on the drain port of the vac and secure a standard garden hose to the pump. Run the hose vertically and out a window for liquid disposal. The pump secures to any RIDGID vac with a drain and enables the wet/dry vacuum to pump 10 Gal. of water per minute up to 40 ft. H.

This is perfect. I had some flooding in my basement. Not deep enough for the stock tank pump but continuous and alot of it, but the vacuum was perfect but emptying the tank everytime it got full was a pain! I ordered an adaptor for the hose, but it would still fill up the tank and I had to wait for it to drain, so I ordered this, perfect solution!! it would keep up with the fast fill up and just moved the water perfectly!! I would totally recommend!! Lots cheaper than buying another wet/dry vac with the pump built in!!

Haven’t, I am happy to say, had to use it. I do like that it is easy to attach and easy to operate (I tried it out). But disappointed that is not designed to operate while picking up water. I.e. you have to fill the wet vac, then use the pump to empty. My old pump Shop-Vac while a bit of a pain to set-up, did operate as a real-time pump.
