Expand your RIDGID wet dry vac’s versatility with the RIDGID Vacuum Pump. If you’re restoring a flooded basement, this is an ideal tool to eliminate water without transporting the vacuum up and down stairs. Install the pump on the drain port of the vac and secure a standard garden hose to the pump. Run the hose vertically and out a window for liquid disposal. The pump secures to any RIDGID vac with a drain and enables the wet/dry vacuum to pump 10 Gal. of water per minute up to 40 ft. H.

I couldn’t believe how effective it is on pumping water, never mind up and out a hose that ran 8 feet high out the basement window. I would definitely recommend this product if you have a ridged shop vac, love this product.

What a great idea. I have a basement that leaks and have to empty the shop vac constantly. I attached this to a hose and ran a piece of pvc outside so all I have to do is turn on the power. Great option for moving water out.

I’ve used this pump only once so far and It works as designed. I use it to suck up rain water and fir tree needles from the cover of my swimming pool before rolling the cover up. My shop vac is 16 gals and emptied it with this pump 12 times. I tried to use it while sucking the water up but it surged so I stopped until my vac was filled each time. I could fill the vac in about a minute but it takes this pump about 3.5 minutes to empty the vac. Slower than I would like but still much more convenient than dragging the filled vac to the grass each time and emptying it.

Works great. Easy to install and has a good pressure and volume through a full 25′ garden hose, at least on the level. I haven’t tried it pumping at a height yet.
