I needed a replacement vac brush due to the bristles on mine being worn down to the plastic housing so this is certainly better than that was, that said, rigid certainly didn’t go out of their way by building this with a good layer of bristles. An ok product to replace a totally worn out brush, but only average.

This brush works well. It is far superior to the slightly smaller one that comes in the two-piece set with a crevice tool. The smaller Ridgid brush fits the same hose size, but narrows in diameter. The vacuum sucks the brush bristles inward and they essentially block the opening, rendering it worthless. I had to order this better brush online since none of the Home Depots in Denver stock it.

The plastic part of it appears fine and there are ample brush bristles. Only problem is brush bristles wear out quickly. And this part should be stocked on the shelf but is often out of stock.Rigid vacuums and accessories used to be a great value but they keep cutting quality. For instance purchased another small 5HP vacuum similar to two others I own. The exhaust now blows out to the front where the hose comes out. Incredibly stupid design obviously to cut costs as it blows the materials around ones trying to vacuum up. It’s cumbersome to try and turn the vacuum hose away from what ones vacuuming.
