Description
The RIDGID VT1708 is a wet dry vacuum Extension Wand is used to extend reach for cleaning tasks, particularly helpful for floor cleaning or high cleaning. This 22 in. long wand extends from the hose and adapts to any of RIDGID 1-7/8 in. vacuum nozzles. The locking tabs on the end of the wand create a secure connection so the tools won’t pull loose during use.

I am not sure what really can be said about an extension wand. It is an extension wand. It fits my cordless Ridgid wet/dry vacuum perfectly. It is well worth the money and for me was a necessity. I mainly use the cordless vac for quick clean up of things like dead flies and lady bugs at our cabin. With the extension I can work standing upright. Actually, two of the wands would be better. It is rather short and I still have to stay bent over. But one is better than none. It would be nice if the extension came with the vacuum, but alas it didn’t.
