This RIDGID vacuum attachment is for use with shop vacuums that accommodate 1.875 inch diameter tools. The utility nozzle is a great multi-purpose tool, especially for debris clean-up on garage or shop floors. It features a 9″ width and durable resin construction.
- Excellent vac accessory for a variety of cleanup chores on hard surfaces and large areas, such as garage or shop floors.
- The 1.875″ diameter adapts to most all shop vacuums with a 1.875″ hose or extension wand.
- If your shop vacuum hose is 2.5″ in diameter, you should review LA2509, the 2.5″ RIDGID Locking Utility Nozzle.
- RIDGID also offers a 3 piece adaptor kit allowing cross-functional use amongst various hose diameters. Review VT1755 for more information.

1 minute in to using it and it’s going back to the store. The wide head attachment isnt flat so it doesnt create the suction I need. There is a smaller attachment that is flat but it’s very small so it’ll take me forever to finish wet vacuuming. Had to use the smaller attachment to finish the small area I started and the amount of dirt it sucks up is awesome!

I use this end to clean the floors of my garage. It works well on the hard surfaces but did not do so well cleaning the carpet of my car or the carpeting I have under my cars. Just depends on what you want to use the product for.

Vacuum is excellent, but comes with only one tool. There is no documentation on the box what size hose comes with the tool. Additional accessories come in a few sizes and the stores I went to had these all mixed up in the bins they were supposed to be in. Took multiple trips to store to fully equip the unit with all necessary accessories.The manual does not specify the hose diameter either.Additional extension tubes which come with most other vacs are not included. Total cost to outfit this tool is greater than their more powerful vacs which come with many more accessores standard. Seems a lot to pay for a portable in light of above.

I purchased this vacuum because it has a better filter system than my old shop vac. The hose is a bit stiffer than I had hoped for and there is a bit more noise than I would like.

This works just fine on my Ridgid shop vac. Not much else to say, it works. The price was fair. I use it to shop vac faster when doing large areas. I do not use it all the time, but its kind of a must to have with your shop vac. Hope this helps.

i have the standard 2 1/2″ hose wand utility wet car nozzles crevice tool floor & round brushes & have to say everything except the dusting brush is great. the dusting brush bristles are too stiff for delicate surfaces; & the brush body is hard plastic
