Description
This RIDGID vacuum attachment is for use with wet/dry vacuums with 1-7/8 in. diameter hoses. This wet nozzle and squeegee tool is ideal for liquid clean-up on hard surfaces. If your liquid clean-up also includes debris, the squeegee insert can be removed and the tool can be used as a traditional nozzle.

Worked well with my Rigid 4 gal. wet-dry vacuum. The head is smaller than those that come with larger “barrel” shaped wet dry vac’s so it may take a little longer to do the job but it worked fine. It’s fairly light weight so don’t expect it to wear forever so I would caution that it’s fine for DIY’ers but if you plan on using it daily for work, I would find a heavier duty one.

I lost the floor sweep nozzle that came with my shop vac, so bought this as a replacement. Works great for sawdust and small debris, but gets plugged up with hair and larger items. The slit at the bottom is only about 1/4″ wide, so it’s just for small stuff.

1 minute in to using it and it’s going back to the store. The wide head attachment isnt flat so it doesnt create the suction I need. There is a smaller attachment that is flat but it’s very small so it’ll take me forever to finish wet vacuuming. Had to use the smaller attachment to finish the small area I started and the amount of dirt it sucks up is awesome!

Im sure it will work fine for its application when needed , I was looking for a open nozzle without a brush but the Sebastian store didnt have one so I got that one anyway

Good tool for vacuuming up most liquids. Not recommended for soft surfaces like carpet or area rugs. NOT recommended for vacuuming gas, oil or ANY petroleum based or flammable liquids!!!! Works great on hard, solid surfaces including wood decks, garage floors, basement floors (uncarpeted).

This is a great tool for your wet/dry vacuum. If you’re going to have to suck up any amount of water, it is well worth the less than $5. It has a squeegee in the middle with holes on both sides to suck up the water. Cleaning up my bathroom concrete floor during a remodel it didn’t leave a single drop, it sucks it clean, I highly recommend for any water cleanup.

It’s what it is.. it sucks and it blows .. very strong.I bought this specifically for drying out water in the basement sucking it out of the carpet.. then in turn to blow underneath the carpet to dry it out completely. Worked like a charm.

Although this part works ok I am not impressed by the Ridge shop vacI would have thought that this part would have been included with the the shop vac since it is a Wet/Dry vac.I use it more for Wet than dry.I will probably go back to the Craftsman brand when I need a new one.
