This RIDGID Tug-A-Long Replacement Wet/Dry Vac Hose features a 1-7/8 in. opening and is 7 ft long. This kit includes an adapter that pairs 1-7/8 in. hoses to 1-1/4 in. accessories. Another convenient feature is the locking tab on the hose cuff, which provides a secure connection to the vac, so it won’t pull loose during use. This wet dry vacuum hose is originally included with most RIDGID 4 Gal., 6 Gal. and 9 Gal. wet/dry vacs and includes all the adapters needed to fit any RIDGID vacuum.

Hard to tell what you are buying because there are a few hoses and kits that cannot be opened without compromising the carton. This is not the replacement for the Rigid vacuum I bought since it is only 7 feet long, rather than the 14 foot length that came with the vacuum. There is also an orange type hose for a car cleaning kit and the differences are not very clear on the cartoning.

If you’re buying this because the stock hose that came with your vacuum is too stiff and is a hindrance, negating any good qualities that it may have. Well, this is not the hose you’re looking for. It was my fault for not checking or not wanting to believe, it was the wrong hose for me. Either way, I did not deduct any points for that reason. If you’re just looking for a replacement hose, then this thing is a good buy at the price point, under $20 when I made the purchase. So there you go, there’s nothing left to say because, at the end of the day, it’s a hose…
