This RIDGID Tug-A-Long Replacement Wet/Dry Vac Hose features a 1-7/8 in. opening and is 7 ft long. This kit includes an adapter that pairs 1-7/8 in. hoses to 1-1/4 in. accessories. Another convenient feature is the locking tab on the hose cuff, which provides a secure connection to the vac, so it won’t pull loose during use. This wet dry vacuum hose is originally included with most RIDGID 4 Gal., 6 Gal. and 9 Gal. wet/dry vacs and includes all the adapters needed to fit any RIDGID vacuum.

This is a replacement part that I bought for a 10+ year old vacuum. The first one lasted 10+ years of normal use and a few home renovations. This one has several design changes from the original. It has a different number of “ribs“ in the corrugated hosing making it more flexible in the areas that flex most and stiffer “ribs” in the areas that need durability. A good update for the original which was very frustrating when it collapsed under torsional stress stopping the vacuums suction.
