When you need a compact hose with the same reach as your original RIDGID wet dry vac hose, this is the hose for you. The Tug-A-Long wet/dry vac hose features an expandable, extremely flexible design that locks to the vacuum while in use for a secure hold. With its expandable design, it stores easily in smaller spaces such as a cabinet or drawer.
- Use to replace or extend any RIDGID 1-7/8 in. wet/dry vacuum hose
- Fits most RIDGID wet/dry vacuums 3 Gal. and larger
- Adjustable air control valve for vacuuming delicate surfaces
- Tug-A-Long locking hose design won’t pull loose during use

Well, the original stock hose unraveled from pulling the wheel-less vac around by the hose. So, now I know better. Seems like a good hose, same size & fit as original. Just will have to take better care by not tugging from the hose.

Excellent product. But you need a strong strong shop vac.Just add it to the tubing you already have and it can reach a second story eaves trough. And make sure you have enough electrical cable. If you need to run run extension cord make sure it’s rated for 15amps ie 12 gauge for 50 feet. It’ll clear most anything out of the eaves trough but you may have to twist and change angles to do it. Also it won’t do large items like the tennis balls the neighborhood kids lost up there. Well it can but you’ve got to play around with it until it latches on, but it may take a while

should have been covered under the rigid lifetime warranty, or at least available in the stores. It was exactly what I needed, once I ordered it, paid for it, and waited for it to arrive. Rigid needs to stand behind its warranty.

This hose works great. It has the ability to control the suction via the ring collar which is ideal for my application as different surface require different amounts of suction. This SHOULD BE provided by the manufacturer with the vacuum and NOT as an additional purchase by the end-user.

Purchased the hose on line and had it shipped to a store near my home. Local Home didnt have my item in stock( ever). Not much you can say about a ridgid vac hose, irs black it works and hopefully it will last longer than the original . Which the nozzle separated from the hose.

This is a good vacume hose and what the original vacume should have had. This should have come with the Ridgid vacume in the first place rather than the piece of junk thart did.

So far it works well, the last one came apart. I hope that was just bad luck, we’ll see in time how well this one holds up.

I have only used this once so far and I was happy with the job it did cleaning the gutters.
Moises Borer (verified owner) –
Just as advertised. Actually think it is the type of hose that should come with the product vs the standard hose which is not very flexible as all and takes up much more space due to its rigidity.

Just remember not to pull or drag the vacuum by the hose, not designed for that & will ultimately unravel. This is the only compact hose available that can stow away in the end compartment.

Works great nice and flexible – excellent as extension hose to vacuum the cars

The package came on time and intact. My only point of confusion was that the intermediary component between the tube and bent tube was already attached and would not fit with my RIDGID hose. Fiddling with it revealed that it was removable and I was able to connect it all just fine. While using it, a considerable amount of debris was blown out of the gutters (and raining on me), and while it is hard for me to tell just how much was cleared out, I find it better than getting up on a ladder and risking injury from a fall.

This is much easier than moving the ladder and are unable to walk up there if you have a steep pitch roof, or are afraid of heights. I am going to obtain extra straight pieces to be able to reach the gutter from the ground because otherwise it is necessary to bungie cord the shop vac to a step ladder. Goggles are recommended because the debris and water really fly out of there, and it only works on blow. The pieces must be firmly forced together so they don’t blow apart and this works best with a cleaned vacuum filter for maximum pressure, but the bottom line is that it works very well.

This works well for people who do not like ladders, however it does not clean out clogs in the downspout. Works best when debris is dry. I like the fact that you can use this as either a suction or blower device.

love the expandable hose, neat design!

the hose is easier to use it’s flexible and expandable!

This product should replace the standard hose that is packed with the vacuum cleaner. The ‘stock’ hose recently split and broke off at the nozzle due to the brittle nature of the material. Now I have a vacuum cleaner that is virtually worthless for operating in a standing position. The new expandable hose is not long enough. What a shame. Great vacuum cleaner equipped with a worthless hose . . . with a replacement part that isn’t long enough to use in a standing position.

Exactly what i needed. Used with an extension hose to clear my 2 story house easily.

Best vacuum I’ve owned (WD4522) The original hose got punctured due to many years of vacuuming tile shards The vac model was discontinued for nearly a decade so I couldn’t get a replacement hose till recently No more kinked aftermarket hoses! And once again it fits in the vacuums design compartment.

Good flexible hose. Length could be longer.Better than the original hose that came with the vacuum
