I bought the Rigid Vac gutter cleaning kit and I am completely satisfied with product.It is a simple attachment to the vacuum and I can safely stay on the ground to clean my gutters of my bungalow. There is enough piping however to reach my hard to reach sections and probably a second storey application. I highly recommend this product, it is reasonably priced and leaves can either be blown out of gutter or vucuumed out.

Did not buy. Ran across a better option for picking up mesquite pods. A vacuum with a 30 degree tilt. Plus a larger diameter suction tube. Was concerned the 1 7/8 “ would clog.

Absolutely no way to use this with an identical hose to extend length contrary to what Q&A response says. The only way I could see this as being useful would be if you’re original hose failed and you need a replacement. Come on, RIGID… figure it out already! Shop vac had their hose game down decades ago! Why am I struggling to find a hose extension for what is otherwise an excellent tool with a hose that is too short to vacuum drywall dust out of corners of ceiling? The 1-7/8 hose size seems to be something you don’t want to give any legitimacy to, however I bought the contractor grade 2-1/2 hose and it fell apart day 1… I had to duct tape it together!

Took longer to arrive than originally promised, but came exactly as ordered. The 2 1/2 inch pipes worked great at cleaning the gutters, but the narrower one got plugged very easily. This rig is great for my gutters, but if you have very narrow gutters, or a roof overhang that narrows the access to the gutters, this won’t be a good idea.

Overall this is a good accessory and I use it often. It’s a good thing it extends as long as it does because I sometimes need to hook it or wrap it around something due to it’s tendency to “slinky”, that is, it will slide off the bench while in use because of it’s flexibility and weight. Somewhat frustrating, but manageable. I bought it because it has an air valve. The ONLY Rigid product that allows suction control which is essential to operate properly.
