This RIDGID wet dry vac adapter kit adapts to vacuum hoses, wands, and accessories of varying sizes and helps maximize your accessory use. You can use the hose-to-hose adapter to connect two 2-1/2 in. hoses together for extended reach or use 1 of the other adapters to connect your accessory to a smaller hose. The 2-1/2 in. to 1-7/8 in. adapter connects the 1-7/8 in. accessories to a 2-1/2 in. hose and the 1-7/8 in. to 1-1/4 in. adapter connects 1-1/4 in. accessories to a 1-7/8 in. hose.

I bought this for attaching to sanders. Little orbital ones. Why doesn’t it fit them? you should make an adapter to FIT them.As it is I have to tape it on. Even the 1 1/2 ” ones

Not universal. This adapter set is for using small nozzles on big vacuums.I was hoping I could use it to hook up a small vacuum to a dust collector, but all this kit lets me do is use my small vacuum’s attachments on my larger vacuum, which is pointless.

Im wanting to hook my vac to me table saw. Not able to do it woth this kit with a 1 7/8 hose Also disappointed because the 1 7/8-1 1/4 isnt able to connect like my old 1 1/4 vac. I use this to suck out ac drain lines. The tip is tapered to much at the end.
