Description

This RIDGID wet dry vac adapter kit adapts to vacuum hoses, wands, and accessories of varying sizes and helps maximize your accessory use. You can use the hose-to-hose adapter to connect two 2-1/2 in. hoses together for extended reach or use 1 of the other adapters to connect your accessory to a smaller hose. The 2-1/2 in. to 1-7/8 in. adapter connects the 1-7/8 in. accessories to a 2-1/2 in. hose and the 1-7/8 in. to 1-1/4 in. adapter connects 1-1/4 in. accessories to a 1-7/8 in. hose.

While this set of adapters allows for the use of a larger selection of vacuum tools, they are not made of the same plastic as those that come with the vacuum… at least my Rigid vacuum. They are softer and really get mushy in the heat. This allows the brush head to just fall off when pushing on it to vacuum up sawdust, etc. on an outdoor driveway If you are in a shop or other temperature controlled area, this may not be a factor.

NEEDS A SMALLER CIRCUMFERENCE TO ADAPT TO THE ALREADY AVAILABLE IN HOME VACUUM ACCESSORIES.IT IS REDUNDANT TO BUY THE SAME ACCESSORIES YOU ALREADY HAVE FROM YOUR IN HOME VACUUM JUST BECAUSE THERE IS NO EXTENSION THAT ALLOWS THE USE OF THESE ACCESSORIES WITHOUT DUCT-TAPING THEM TO A LARGER EXTENSION.

All these adapter kits are not that great. They never fit anything. It’s getting down to the tool side that you need.
