It’s okay and definitely beats having to dump, but if you’re soaking up a constant water it’s not quick enough to over come the vacuum and therefore the vacuum fills up with water and you’re left waiting for it to drain. I would recommend the drain pump if that’s your situation

Was as expected

Good product. Just what I needed. I wonder why I had to order it. It should be included with the wet-dry vacuum or at least be able to purchase in store.

I bought this to vacuum water out of a basement when needed … hopefully I won’t need it anytime soon! When I do actually use it I will update the review.

It’s a great accessory, but disappointed that it has to be in an upright position to work properly! I needed it to drain my bathtub until management fixes my issue with pipes!

Worked out great for draining my hot tub! Set it up on step with short hose for gravity and saved me having to disconnect, move and drain each time. Took 4 minutes to drain each time but saved my back! Handy and would recommend having it around.

Screws right onto the drain of my Craftsman and Ridgid vacs. Do wish had a valve on it but will add one easily. Almost a perfect device with the exception of the vavle.

FYI, I thought I could connect a hose and let it drain into sump as vacuum ran. NOPE must have vacuum off to drain. Defeats purpose when basement was getting water in corner you still gotta be there. Just faster to dump out tub rather than wait for it too drain. WISH i knew ahead of time.

Fiits well but thin plastic. Believe wont hold up to prolonged use

It works great. However You still need to tilt the hole vacuum to remove all of the water out of it. Because the outlet is about 2″-3” higher from the bottom. It also drains very slow. Maybe it would be better manufacture it with a bigger holes diameter.

The adapter worked great I attached a shutoff valve and it made drawing my fountain pond so labor free Last year I had to use five gallon buckets to carry the water and dump in my woods.

This little accessory will save your back if you need to vacuum large volumes of water. I hose down, scrub and vacuum my enclosed porch regularly. The vac is Really Heavy when it full of water. Dragging it to the door to drain water over and over just about killed me. With this and a garden hose, water can be drained out continuously without the need to drag and dump/drain. Just getting ready to do the porch now and can’t find the adapter. Am Very Peeved that Home Depot does not keep this part in stock… just as peeved as when I first discovered it and had to wait for it to be delivered. KEEP IT IN STOCK, WILLYA?
