Great shop vac for the price. I wanted something relatively compact that I could use with a dust separator/collector, all on two small shelves mounted on my shop wall. This shop vac fit the bill. For a 5.0 peak HP vac, it is pretty quiet. I also like that collection bags work with it.

Hose is Way Way Way to Short! Had to spend another $50.00 on a hose car kit!

Wish it interlinked with the ridgid tool box totes like the video showed

The assembly was easy and takes about ten minutes. The vacuum is pretty quiet and has some nice features like being able to pull it with the retractable handle or lift it with the built in handle. There are two side covers that hold the accessories like the hose, plug and attachments. The cord is twenty feet long and the vacuum hose is about seven feet stretched out. The side covers are a little tricky to open and require two hands and at a 5.0 peak horse power it has good suction. The vacuum can be used to blow leaves, vacuum water or just vacuum. I like the large on-off switch located on the front plus the hard rubber no slip wheels. The vacuum weighs about 25 pounds so it’s easy to move it around. The unit is stable because of the square design so it won’t tip over that easy.

So much easier to pull behind you than trying to drag a four wheel vac that has a mind of it’s own. This one is a little big to pick up and cart around by the lift handle. But it is there and works great to go up steps, lift over large bumps etc. Something that is not easy to do with a large round four wheel vac. Really like the ability to put everything in the case that is built into the vac. Very good for storage in a garage, will fit in a tight space with no need to figure out where to put the hose. And you can stack other items on top of the vac if you need even more space. Try that with a round top conventional vac. Plenty of suction, have had not issues with the flexible smaller diameter hose compared to my large Ridgid shop vac. that has a large diameter hose and is not very flexible. This one does not clog up any easier than the large vac I’m going to give to my son. He can figure out how to store it and move it around. Like this one so much better than any previous vac I’ve owned. The extensions for the hose and the attachments seem to be the only weak part. They work fine so far, but I could see wearing one out or breaking a clip off of one in a couple years of hard use.

great vaccum. has built in storage for accessories and even the cord. Nice compact footprint. plenty of power. Paired it with a cyclone and the cleanliness on jobs is impressive. Love the flat top for stacking other tool boxes when loading and unloading. Overall great purchase!

This portable wet dry vacuum is pretty powerful with the 5.0 Peak HP Motor. It is tool box shaped making it easy to store and transport. The box has self-contained storage areas on both sides of the box for all of the tools, hose and cord with hinged covers making it easy to access these areas. With all of this it is still very lightweight. This has a large grip handle that folds flat on top of the box but also has an extendable handle to make it easy to pull or push the vacuum with ease since it also has wheels (like a suitcase) when moving it around. It is relatively quiet with the patented “Scroll Noise Reduction” feature. The hose is locking to keep it from pulling apart during use and has a 20 foot power cord to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend!

I really like this vacuum, but didn’t appreciate that some of its features could also be viewed as compromises, depending on user expectation. For example, this vacuum won’t follow you around easily; you need one hand on the handle to pull it around with you. Also, motor and filter take up a lot of the dustbin space. The blower exhaust is in one of the side pockets, so you need to leave that open for max venting. Putting away the vacuum takes a bit more work to disassemble and tuck away the hose, attachments and cord into the side pockets. Having said that, I like the ruggedness of the vacuum, it’s quite quiet, and takes minimal storage space when not in use.

I was hoping this vacuum was like the similar tool box for size and clamping tool boxes and crates to the vacuum

Finally someone engineered a shop vac and put as much thought into it when its not in use as when it is in use.Its storability, portability, functionally, and material quality are all superior to the other “old style” round drum vacs. The Rigid Pro Pack Plus is square and looks like a toolbox with a retractable handle which makes it super easy to put in storage and to get out of storage and move it to where its needed without dragging it by the hose or squatting to shove it around to the point of use. Also the tools, hose and cord are stowed away in compartments with flip lids (one the lids also doubles as a built in air diffuser on the exhaust port. Also Included are the hard tubes to put on the end of the hose when needed giving excellent reach on nearly any needed cleanup, wet or dry and they stow away very neatly on the machines back. Its 5 HP motor provides great suction and can be used as a blower like most shop vacs by placing the hose on the exhaust. The generous 10 gallon capacity give you ample pickup for most cleanups, and makes a manageable size load when its time to empty. This is by far the best shop vac I have ever owned in every way.

This Rigid 10 gallon wet/dry vac is different from all the others. With its box shape it sets well in the bed of the truck for use on the job. Easy to assemble ( about 15 minutes) and sturdy it is ideal for both the job site and the shop. You can set your tool box on top and then use the handle to comfortably wheel this vac around. It is powerful and works well.

Great shop vac for going to job sites. You can stack your stuff on top and wheel it inside. Only problem is the website doesn’t tell you what other tool boxes are compatible. I’d have ordered them at the same time, but now I have to take measurements and then go into a home depot.
