This stainless steel vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 locking accessories. All locking accessories (hoses, wands, and accessories) lock together, so nothing falls off in use. Add a top handle with a cord wrap, stainless steel drum construction and caster feet with accessory storage, and you have a wet/dry vac that meets the demands of Pros, DIYers and homeowners. It features the Patented Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. Rigid makes a great vacuum but the plastic lock down clips on the model are not very good. They fall off many times and have to be snapped back into place. I do maintenance work and I can see the potential of these orange plastic clips breaking in the future.I had the larger model for delver so years previous and had I ti do it again I should have bought the larger model with the stronger permanent lock down clips for the lid. If you can spend the extra money purchase the next model up.

We like this vacuum a lot. Really sucks hard except when the filter gets full of drywall dust. Remember to ‘snap’ the filter on or it will fall off and fill your house with dust like a desert dust storm. And your wife will be mad. But she will look funny covered in dust. Haha

Surprised by how much vacuum power I get from this unit,works great. Only con I see is the hose that comes with it could be about 2 foot longer. I will end up buying an extension or after market longer hose. The warranty that comes with this vacuum is the clincher.

The product is excellent. It picks up 5x5x3cm chunks of plaster without any effort. I vacuumed a large construction site and removed about 15 drum loads of debris in 7 days. That’s about 150 gallons of debris equivalent. Then the same area flooded a few days later and I vacuumed up about 35 gallons of water. Once the water was up I then connected the hose to the air outlet connection and used the air outflow as a blower to dry the area. This is a seriously incredible tool and well worth it for the money. I didn’t even think about buying this until the gentleman in the tool rental area told me not to rent the vacuum they had for 7 days and actually buy this machine. The cost of this was 3 days worth of vacuum rental from the tool hire area. I was going to spent more than double this price on a useless vacuum from the rental center.
