This RIDGID 10 Gal. stainless steel wet/dry vac is designed to deliver high performance through its 6.0 peak HP motor that easily handles tough clean-up tasks. This stainless steel vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 locking accessories. All locking accessories (hoses, wands, and accessories) lock together, so nothing falls off in use. Add a top handle with a cord wrap, stainless steel drum construction and caster feet with accessory storage, and you have a wet/dry vac that meets the demands of Pros, DIYers and homeowners. It features the Patented Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. Awesome suction power. Stainless container is very thin. Do not purchase thinking it is more robust than plastic. I purchased to have more power in smaller size unit and that is exactly what I have. Casters are quite cheap and small. I will replace them with larger to allow vac to roll over air hoses/extension cords, etc.

Bought this to cleanup dog hair in the basement (where dog is most of the time) and construction debris from any projects i work on in the garage. I bought the upgraded hepa filter to vacuum the basement since dried concrete from the new house had alot of dust and debris. It has good suction, blower function and decent push force (leaves, dust, etc), but as others mentioned the motor is really loud so if in an enclosed space or using for more than 2 min I have to put ear protection.House is about 2-3 inches in diameter and can suck pretty big pieces but the down fall is that it wont suck a little tiny area very well without the crevice attachment.Bought the soft bristle attachment for wood floors and does mediocre job. I’ll eventually buy a central vac for the rest of the house and use this for garage/basement/car cleaning.

This shop vac works well with lots of suction. Fairly noisy but not really an issue. I was not able to register it on The Ridgid site for warranty purposes which tells me that there really is no warranty and I am on my own. It was only $100 and so if I have problems I guess I will just throw it out.
