I purchased this vac based on it’s foot print. It isn’t bulky like so may other vacs are. So far both of them have preformed very well.

The product is excellent. It picks up 5x5x3cm chunks of plaster without any effort. I vacuumed a large construction site and removed about 15 drum loads of debris in 7 days. That’s about 150 gallons of debris equivalent. Then the same area flooded a few days later and I vacuumed up about 35 gallons of water. Once the water was up I then connected the hose to the air outlet connection and used the air outflow as a blower to dry the area. This is a seriously incredible tool and well worth it for the money. I didn’t even think about buying this until the gentleman in the tool rental area told me not to rent the vacuum they had for 7 days and actually buy this machine. The cost of this was 3 days worth of vacuum rental from the tool hire area. I was going to spent more than double this price on a useless vacuum from the rental center.

It’s got power!!! I needed to clean my basement, so I decided to try out the RIGID 10 Gallon 6.0-Peak Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Shop Vac. I knew that my little Shark vac was not going to do the trick. Therefore, I thought that $94 was not a bad price…so I took a chance. It worked wonders. It picked up the dust, webs, and dead bugs that had been there for a while. The filter did not allow any dust out as well, so it kept all the filth in the canister. A little trick to make sure that dust never becomes an issue… Before vacuuming, add about 3-4 inches of water, add a little bleach, and a little bit of fabric softener. It will help prevent any dust from coming out, and it will let out a clean scent, instead of a dirty scent that would come out if it either way. The only drawback is the fact that the hose is bulky and at times sometimes hard to maneuver. With that said, it’s not the biggest deal. Lastly, the attachments fall off easily, so that would be something to improved upon. With that said, I would recommend anyone this item who is looking for a shop vac for a big job. You will not go wrong with this vac.
