This RIDGID 16 Gal. stainless steel wet dry vac is designed to deliver the powerful suction, large capacity, rugged construction, unique features and excellent mobility that pros demand for jobsite or shop. The powerful 6.5 peak HP motor easily handles the toughest jobsite clean-up tasks. This stainless steel vac includes the first ever 2-1/2 locking accessories. All locking accessories (hoses, wands, and accessories) lock together, so nothing falls off in use. A 3-layer fine dust filter, VF5000 captures drywall dust. Moving up and down steps or across rough terrain is a snap with the large fixed rear wheels and cart handle. The top handle doubles as a cord wrap, and an accessory storage bag keeps vac attachments close at hand. The cart handle includes a quick release design which allows easy emptying. This stainless steel construction wet/dry vacuum also features RIDGID’s Scroll Noise Reduction for quiet operation.

Purchased this a few months ago. Based on the previous experience with Rigid tools and vacuums and the stated warranty. I have never had to make a claim so far regarding the warranty. While the big vacuum is a little more expensive than others. I think Rigid will stand by their brand reputation. One thing that would be nice is to see more accessories that are available for these shop vacs. Like some sort of separate Hepa filters that can be used in wood working and remodeling to collect dust better without clogging the filters so quickly.
