The RIDGID 4 Gal. wet dry vac is a multi-functional tool that combines portable power and a handheld blower. This compact powerhouse packs a heavy duty 6.0 peak horsepower rated motor to tackle even the messiest jobs. The power head of the wet/dry vacuum detaches and quickly converts into a handheld blower with a locking wand that outperforms most dedicated leaf blowers. The quick-release cord wrap lets you spend less time unwrapping the 20 ft. cord and more time on the job. The caddy conveniently keeps your accessories and the hose close at hand. It is 2 incredible tools in one.
- Detachable hand-held blower with a locking wand with blowing capacity ideal for cleaning decks and driveways
- 6-peak horsepower motor for powerful performance for heavy-duty cleanup
- Lightweight and portable
- Large rear wheels and casters provide great mobility over carpeted floors, thresholds and rough terrain at job sites
- Accessory storage caddy keeps accessories organized and close by for easy access
- 7 ft. tug-a-long hose offers a secure fit to the vacuum and a clog-free performance
- 20 ft. cord provides extra reach
- Includes a utility nozzle, car nozzle, 2 extension wands, blowing wand and vf3500 fine dust filter
- Peak horsepower represents a level at or below the maximum horsepower output of an electric motor tested in a laboratory using a dynamometer
- Gallons indicated reflect drum volume, not necessarily collection capacity; actual capacity dependent upon type of debris collected, condition of filter, and other factors

I had a larger wet/dry vac, but being larger meant so much space lost. The 4-gallon wet/dry fits on the shelf of my workbench. The hose reaches the end of the bench were I have a “big mouth” dust/debris collection port. With what i do, there is a lot of sanding, filling with things like Bondo or sandable primer. As i work, it collects it. What falls to the bench is simply swept into the “big mouth”. Then being smaller, it can be used for so much more out from under the workbench. It isnt too heavy, and it gets the job done that I need it to do.

Awesome. I regret not buy the kit including better hose and more accessories.

Only wish the blower was cordless.

Fantastic portable wet dry vac! Loads of suction! We also purchased the RIDGID Vacuum Dust Bags VF3501 Type C to use as well. Have only used this machine a couple of times but love it so far!

Powerful multi tool. Bought it for boat but been using it everywhere. I put my big 16 gallon in the attic and rather use this one.

I adapted the vac to be part of my cyclone dust collection system. I liked the fact that it is 6 HP for the power. I did not even need the 4 gallon capacity because the dust and debris goes into a larger container and bypasses the filter to keep the vac cleaner and extend the filter life. The fact that it is small let me stack it in top of the cyclone separator for a smaller foot print in my small shop space.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. Though I don’t have experience with other shop vacuums. I do wish it was a bit more powerful.
