The RIDGID 5 Gal. Stor-N-Go wet dry vac is a unique and innovative vacuum design. It mounts directly onto the wall, which saves floor space and alleviates clutter in your work area or garage. It is easily detached from its wall bracket, making it portable. For added convenience, store the hoses, cord and accessories on the Stor-N-Go caddy, which also detaches from the vacuum drum. Included with the accessories are one 2 to 7 ft. expandable hose and one 14 ft. Tug-A-Long hose. Hook both hoses together for 21 ft. of total reach.

I purchased this vacuum to replace an old “Blue” one that lasted a good 15 years. I wanted a direct replacement so I could reuse the hose and attachments but Blue was no longer available.The Rigid attaches to the wall easily with the included screws. I mounted it by attaching a piece of 3/4″ plywood to the wall, then the vacuum to the ply. Easy-peezy.My like is the muffled exhaust that can be removed in order to attach the hose and use it as a blower to blow out the garage or the occasional hose obstruction. Blue didn”t have this feature.Dislikes: I use this vacuum primarily to vacuum the cars. For that purpose the hose, in my opinion is larger in diameter and heavier than desired. It makes maneuvering around the cramped confines of the car a little more difficult. The supplied hose is too short as well. Yes, I’m aware Rigid makes an accessory hose kit but haven’t purchased it yet.Is it a bad vacuum? No, I’m probably being a little picky. When I get my extra hose I’ll see how it works out.

Great vac to bring on jobs, use to detail your car. Be sure to buy the shop bags to catch airborn particles of you are going to attach to power tools or drywall sanding. I really love this little vac. I use for detailing and drywall sanding mostly and it has been great.

The longer hose that came with the vac. was too stiff. I purchased another Ridgid hose, (that came with extra fittings) that wasn’t so stiff. The only problem is other Ridgid hoses do not fit. I had to make fittings to conect. Very powerful.

Purchase on sale for 79 dollars to replace my standard rolling ridgid vacuum. Quality is good, same lifetime warranty, frees up floor space in the garage, and easy enough to carry around….comes with a good amount of attachments. Would definitely recommend if looking for a wall mount vacuum and already have ridgid attachments and accessories.

WANTED SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE EASY FOR MY WIFE TO USE , ITS LIGHT AND IF YOU NEED TO DISCONECT FROM THE WALL JUST PUSH RELEASE BUTTON AND IT COMES OFF EASILY. GREAT SUCTION , AND EASY INSTALL , 4 SCREWS! HOSE IS PLENTY LONG FOR INSIDE THE GARAGE AND IF YOU NEED MORE,PURCHASE THE ACCESSORY KIT OR JUST TAKE IT OFF THE MOUNTING PLATE INSTALLED ON THE WALL AND IT WILL GO AS FAR AS THE LENGTH OF THE CORD PLUS THE LENGTH OF THE HOSE !!
