Not very well thought out. Why? 1 It sticks out wuite far from the wall. The exit filter adds insult to injury and if you leave the hose connected its even worse. 2 The tool caddy should be part of the wall mout not the vacuum. Its just makes it bulky to carry. 3 power cord should be retractable. The very undersized wind up reel is a joke. 4. Hose reel poorly designed. Undersized and constantly in the way of removing the vacuum from the wall mount. Look elsewhere this one designed with little thought to practical use

Liked the idea of the hose coming out in the front. Five stars if they upgraded the hose

I bought this vacuum to replace a smaller one that was hard to use. I bought this one because it has an extra long cord and an extra-long hose. With the locking hose, I can vacuum both vehicles without moving the vac, just pull the hose from one to another. Plenty of power and handy attachments. Excellent product that solves a long-standing problem.

Vacuum works great but the LED lighted car nozzle broke after first use.

Simple assembly, very nice powerful vacuum. I use it to vacuum my truck and it’s simple to just grab the hose off of it and push a button no more wheeling out the vacuum to do it.

Nice, compact vacuum system! Easy to install on front wall of my garage to take advantage of the 20+ feet of hose, and keep both vehicles vacuumed without the hassle of pulling a wheeled vac around the garage!I’ve mounted it so it can even be pulled into our adjacent kitchen, to quickly deal with a kitchen mess. But… I’m giving it a cautious 5 overall rating because of the engineering of the hoses. The primary 7 foot hose is a bit TOO SOFT – it tends to kink and restrict flow where it plugs into the front of the vac when mounted high with the weight of both hoses together. The 14 foot add-on hose is a bit TOO STIFF. It needs to be softer so you aren’t fighting it as you unwrap it to extend it. The two hoses could be the same material, stiff enough to not kink, but able to flex and it would be great. So, Rigid, if you are working on a different hose configuration for a future model, send me one and I’ll be happy to test it for you. With a hose update, you’d have a 100% winner and I’d give you to a 5+ on what is an EXCELLENT shop vac!

This is a great vacuum. I would have given it 5 stars if the design allowed you to pull in more water without the filter almost immediately being submerged. Maybe a shorter filter or deeper plastic base. Also, the hose could be a little more supple. This thing is like a spring. Pull it a little and the vacuum comes along for the ride.

Works great for intended purpose. Purchased for small cleanup jobs to avoid having to drag out the big cleaner every time I needed to clean up something. Hose is long enough to comfortably reach about ten feet without having to move the cleaner from the wall. Excellent suction power.

This is a great portable vac and is perfect for cleaning cars/trucks/boats. The longer hose and variety of attachments make it so easy to use.

I’ve had one of these for about 15 years during which time it’s vacuumed the cars and capably seen me through hundreds of projects. When this went on sale, I bought another to service my other set of garages. Seems identical to the old one except the color of the base. Very good suction. The front exhaust takes a little getting used to. But you soon remember to divert it properly, and it allows the unit to be wall hung which equals up and out of the way. I don’t like the long, rigid hose — too stiff. So I like to remove the vac from the wall mount for use. While a bit top heavy, you can use only the flexible hose and have the unit follow you around by installing 5/16″ stem casters in the holes on the bottom … only ~$5 at HD for a set of four that does the job very nicely. The unit is an excellent compromise between storage and function. The connection between the flexible hose and wands tends to loosen, and I wish that it was more positive than friction alone. The lighted car nozzle? Meh, who cares.

Nozzle light is not useful. Too dim to be effective.

I bought one for work and after using it there, I had to get one for my garage. I like that it mounts to the wall and is out of the way, yet always at the ready.

This little machine has really powerful suction. I had a 10 gallon rigid and was looking to buy the hose extension and a filter to clean out my attic. I found and paid a little more. it’s got so much options and power. it amazes me. I take this around the house to do all kinds of project that might create dust. i realize i will have to get dust bags to ease of cleaning. best purchase at home depot thus far. btw… i love hd.
