The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is the solution to the problem of having to take materials back to the workshop to cut them, and then bring them back to the job site later on. If you’re a contractor, you know that that process can add an entire day to a project. The BladeRunner is only 15 lbs, so while stable and sturdy, it’s easy to toss in the back of the truck. And with a footprint of only 15.75” x 17”, it doesn’t take up an entire workbench like traditional table saws. The hold-down guard and splitter allow for work with wider materials, and a larger rip fence than other portable table saws provides better control and accurate cuts. A no-load speed of 3000/min, a stroke length of ¾”, with 5.5 amps of power gives it the capacity for light to moderate cutting of wood (up to 1-1/2”), ceramic tile (3/8”), PVC pipe (1-1/4”), aluminum (3/8”), and steel (1/8”). (Anything over 1-1/2” and you’re probably going to need a traditional, permanently fixed tabletop saw—but you can’t take that to the job site.) The blades change out almost instantly, in under 3 seconds once you get the hang of the tool-less blade change system. And the saw is protected by a Rockwell 3-year limited warranty, so you know they stand behind their tools.
- [SETS UP IN SECONDS] Take this table saw to the job site or move it around the workshop. There’s even a built-in carry handle
- [CUTS LIKE A FULL-SIZE] With the standard guard and riving knife system you can perform rip, cross, scroll, and miter cuts
- [TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand’s standard 4” T-shank blade, but we threw 5 in the box to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
- [0-60° MITER CUTS] With the adjustable gauge you can pull off precise miter cuts for a whole assortment of woodworking projects
- [ON-BOARD ACCESSORY STORAGE] When the miter gauge, rip fence, and extra blades aren’t in use they can be conveniently housed in the base of the saw
- [SAFETY SWITCH] Prevents accidental starting, plus the vacuum port lets you hook up a shop vac that cleans while you cut
- Safety switch with key prevents accidental start

I gave it as a gift and have heard only good things about it.

When the job is too big for a hobby jig saw and too small for a full size table saw.The blade selection is good, but what should you use for 1/8 inch plastic?
Bulah Bernier (verified owner) –
Its perfect for smaller stuff like ripping a piece of moulding or cutting an angle to match a wall edge. A circular saw would be to dangerous for these small cuts so close to the blade.

I absolutely love it. I do crafts, work with wood alot, so I needed a saw that can do it all. I would recommend it to anyone. I have had it for maybe 2 weeks now, and I’ve used it servial times.

Better than I expected. Allows me to do precision cuts which I could not achieve with a hand saw

A little small for some work, but fine for most

The Rockwell Blade Runner is ideal for my purpose of cutting pewter sheet and other light gauge metals as well as 1/8-1/4 inch boards. The larger flat surface is convenient and the guides both work well. Lightweight saw so slower cutting. Quite loud and some adjustments were needed at outset.

Noisier than a cheap leaf blower or power mower with a broken muffler.

It isn’t a replacement for a band saw, but if you make thin cut marks and pay attention, it get the work done.

This device makes sawing almost anything easy. I needed it to cut travertine flooring tiles and various pieces of wood. Included different saws for ceramic, wood, metal, plastic. Easy to set up and store. Don’t know how I did without this for so long.

This has been a wonderful tool for me. I’m building a 1/4 scale WWI aircraft and have used this extensively. Followed another’s advice and used a square to set the rip fence square to the blade and added an extension on the miter and used a square to ensure cuts were accurate. Now a great tool

Economical alternative to a more durable ta le saw. This was used for light flooring material and performed adequately.

Once we figured out how the blade was inserted and ejected, we were very please with the smoothness of the wood cutting experience.

It was very easy to set up the downside to it is you have to cut very slowly when ripping or it tends to wobble off the straight line

The BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is a true workhorse! I need something strong, portable and lasting & this has been a blessing. I bought a fixer-upper, so, I’ve used this to redo my condo and now my son is using it to work on his house. It has the power to do any job I ask of it & then some, plus it’s easy to use and quick set-up. Highly recommend
