The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is the solution to the problem of having to take materials back to the workshop to cut them, and then bring them back to the job site later on. If you’re a contractor, you know that that process can add an entire day to a project. The BladeRunner is only 15 lbs, so while stable and sturdy, it’s easy to toss in the back of the truck. And with a footprint of only 15.75” x 17”, it doesn’t take up an entire workbench like traditional table saws. The hold-down guard and splitter allow for work with wider materials, and a larger rip fence than other portable table saws provides better control and accurate cuts. A no-load speed of 3000/min, a stroke length of ¾”, with 5.5 amps of power gives it the capacity for light to moderate cutting of wood (up to 1-1/2”), ceramic tile (3/8”), PVC pipe (1-1/4”), aluminum (3/8”), and steel (1/8”). (Anything over 1-1/2” and you’re probably going to need a traditional, permanently fixed tabletop saw—but you can’t take that to the job site.) The blades change out almost instantly, in under 3 seconds once you get the hang of the tool-less blade change system. And the saw is protected by a Rockwell 3-year limited warranty, so you know they stand behind their tools.
- [SETS UP IN SECONDS] Take this table saw to the job site or move it around the workshop. There’s even a built-in carry handle
- [CUTS LIKE A FULL-SIZE] With the standard guard and riving knife system you can perform rip, cross, scroll, and miter cuts
- [TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand’s standard 4” T-shank blade, but we threw 5 in the box to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
- [0-60° MITER CUTS] With the adjustable gauge you can pull off precise miter cuts for a whole assortment of woodworking projects
- [ON-BOARD ACCESSORY STORAGE] When the miter gauge, rip fence, and extra blades aren’t in use they can be conveniently housed in the base of the saw
- [SAFETY SWITCH] Prevents accidental starting, plus the vacuum port lets you hook up a shop vac that cleans while you cut
- Safety switch with key prevents accidental start

The BladeRunner X2 is such an important and unique tool to me that after buying and using one for four full days of work, I purchased a second one as a backup. For me the ability to have a table top saw that can cut so many different materials which is less than 15 lbs making it so easy to transport is a game changer. I no longer need to transport a 45 lb plus jobsite table saw around. Although it is light in weight, it has been a true workhorse for me. I have used it regularly for almost a year and a half for big and small jobs. From rebuilding two sheds, to making a slop sink surround, ripping plywood, cutting trim boards, PT lumber, ceramic tile, and wood flooring, etc, this light weight wonder has never let me down. While I own two of them, other than as an extra saw for my workshop at home, the first BladeRunner X2 has done the bulk of the work and is still going strong. I depend on my BladeRunner X2 so much that I do not know how I would accomplish my work so efficiently without one.

I’m a 67 yr old female with little table saw experience. I have arthritis in both hands and holding either my lightweight circular saw or jigsaw is getting harder for me to control. My $69.99 Bladerunner took care of that. The setup was so easy, I was ready to get started in minutes! I only used two days so far and I was so excited, I was dancing in the yard with my 3 yr old great grandson! I cross cut some 6′ boards for a bed frame, ripped some 1 bys to make stakes for my wooden yard art andused the scroll blade to cut out jack-o-lanterns. Being able to use two hands on the wood was heavenly. Slow and steady and it works great! I’ll be learning to do more after I build my work bench and clean out a spot for an indoor workshop in the old rec building. The Blade runner is just right for what I do- the yard art is too big but all the wooden indoor decorations I do is just right.

Good value for money for a small table top saw. Excellent for small projects. Stay within its capabilities and it will work well.

Easy to work with. Suits my needs. Nice and compact.

Easy to set up but the blades are not very good so buy better blades.

I love this little saw. I can bring it with me when I have quick items to fix and not run up and down to my shop for quick cuts. It’s a great little tool to have.

Lot of applications for blade runner, like easy change blade.

It’s OK, but no replacement for a table saw.

Don’t waste your money. I had high hopes but it’s nothing more than a jig saw on a table. It can’t be relied on for straight cuts. You would do better spending a hundred dollars more on a quality tool. I gave it 3 stars since it can perform basic cuts but nothing more.

I used it briefly when it arrived…tinkered with it and built a small wren house. It’s a decent tool, and I’m glad I bought it. As with ANY tool, powered or not, it will perform well if it’s used according to what it was designed to do! Does it perform like an expensive table saw? Of course not, but it’s a cool addition to my workshop.

This was my first powertool. I used it to install a vinyl floor in my kitchen by myself. It takes a little bit to get the hang of making a straight cut, and a lot of my cuts were still wonky, but it got the job done. Pretty good for a novice in an apartment!

Started a project where I needed straight cut out of the center of my boards.I was cutting quite a few. Since I have cut tubing and plate Steel with it.I very SATISFIED with the “Blade Runner”

This is a great saw for straight or miter cuts. The only thing I wish it could also is make a bevel cut. I now it would change the design of the saw but can you guys figure out how to do it? I even tried making a bevel jig for it but the exposed blade hight is too short. Even if it was more expensive, it would be worth doing because there is no other saw like it and this would make it even more unique .Thanks,Hank

Very nice, versatile tool. Perfect for what I need. Not for heavy duty work, but takes up little space and gets the job done.
