The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is the solution to the problem of having to take materials back to the workshop to cut them, and then bring them back to the job site later on. If you’re a contractor, you know that that process can add an entire day to a project. The BladeRunner is only 15 lbs, so while stable and sturdy, it’s easy to toss in the back of the truck. And with a footprint of only 15.75” x 17”, it doesn’t take up an entire workbench like traditional table saws. The hold-down guard and splitter allow for work with wider materials, and a larger rip fence than other portable table saws provides better control and accurate cuts. A no-load speed of 3000/min, a stroke length of ¾”, with 5.5 amps of power gives it the capacity for light to moderate cutting of wood (up to 1-1/2”), ceramic tile (3/8”), PVC pipe (1-1/4”), aluminum (3/8”), and steel (1/8”). (Anything over 1-1/2” and you’re probably going to need a traditional, permanently fixed tabletop saw—but you can’t take that to the job site.) The blades change out almost instantly, in under 3 seconds once you get the hang of the tool-less blade change system. And the saw is protected by a Rockwell 3-year limited warranty, so you know they stand behind their tools.
- [SETS UP IN SECONDS] Take this table saw to the job site or move it around the workshop. There’s even a built-in carry handle
- [CUTS LIKE A FULL-SIZE] With the standard guard and riving knife system you can perform rip, cross, scroll, and miter cuts
- [TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand’s standard 4” T-shank blade, but we threw 5 in the box to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
- [0-60° MITER CUTS] With the adjustable gauge you can pull off precise miter cuts for a whole assortment of woodworking projects
- [ON-BOARD ACCESSORY STORAGE] When the miter gauge, rip fence, and extra blades aren’t in use they can be conveniently housed in the base of the saw
- [SAFETY SWITCH] Prevents accidental starting, plus the vacuum port lets you hook up a shop vac that cleans while you cut
- Safety switch with key prevents accidental start

I received my Rockwell bladerunner as a Fathers Day gift from my parents….my wife makes doorhangers out of 1/4 inch plywood and I have probably cut several hundred designs out for her…. up until today when all of a sudden it acted as if the saw lost power and started to make a chugging sound from the motor area….I had only cut 4 small designs when all of this occurred and couldnt even finish the task at hand… I would recommend this for small jobs around the house (occasional use) but not for extended use like I have used it for … thanks rockwell but maybe I need to look into a different product that will not fail in the middle of a project

Great little table saw for the money.

I like the portability of this saw. I used it once and it struggled with the thickness of the wood which was only 3/4 in. I think the saw will be perfect for thinner wood and I purchased it mainly for use while installing a laminate floor and because it could easily be used in our rental house.

very difficult to keep a straight cut. Jig saw blade has some lateral movement so cuts are not true

Can do all types of cutting. But the machine is vibrating and hard to fix while cutting.

A little small for some work, but fine for most

Excellent for small home projects. I am disabled and this saw is light enough for me to move and use.

I bought this saw to make a custom frame to attach a matte to that will fit inside a shadow box. I needed wood strip that were 3/4″ wide, but the smallest wide I could find were 1″ thick. I purchased this saw to rip through the five-layer laminated basswood strips so they would be 3/4″ wide and to cut those strip to the right lengths. The saw didn’t rip through the wood with the speed of a table saw, more at the speed of a jig saw, which it basically is. The saw handled the job beautifully, giving me straight cuts. Great craft saw for making picture frames and shadow boxes. The only thing that would make this saw even more versatile would be the capability to angle the blade to get beveled cuts so I could make roofs for birdhouses.

This is one tough little saw! of course, this shouldn’t be the only one saw for all your needs, if you’re up to big projects, but one you shouldn’t be without; it’s so easy to use and gets the job done; add a miter saw for cutting thicker woods such as 2x4s and you’re all set.Highly recommended.

I read the reviews before purchasing and was skeptical, but for the price I was willing to take a chance. I am impressed, now take into consideration I’m a hobbyist on a small scale. I make wooden and plastic toys for kids and this meets my needs. I’m not going to frame a house with it or even use it to install base moulding but it does allow me to precut larger material for use in my cnc router. it has plenty of power, light weight, does not take up much space and requires no tools to use. I do recommend taking the time to adjust the blade roller bearing guides and the parallel alignment of blade to table. I checked the fence measurement scale with the side profile of blade and it is right-on. If you can get this table saw for a good price, buy it.
