The heavy-duty JawHorse Sheetmaster is so named because it can support a full sheet of 8 x 4 plywood all by itself. There’s no need to call over a neighbor to help you hold a project when you have the JawHorse. Keep your hands free to use your tools instead of using them just to brace your work. And raise your project off of the floor and up to a comfortable working height. The Sheetmaster is really a 3-in-1 as it has workbench, vice, and machine press functionality. It’s strong enough to handle metal bending or straightening, made of solid steel with 10x the clamping force of a standard vice, and boasts the industrial pressing power of a one-ton machine press. It’s 53 lbs, which is substantial, but it needs to be to support 600 lbs projects with 1 ton of clamping pressure. But it’s designed with a whole host of features to make it easy to use. The rear leg doubles as a handle, and the front legs have unlockable wheels, so you can raise the back and push it around the job site like a wheelbarrow. Plus, the foot pedal does much of the clamping work for you, leaving your hands truly free. It’s 39” x 39” x 34” when standing and 29” x 14” x 13” when folded. And it’s backed by a hefty 5-year Rockwell limited warranty, because they’re confident in the performance of their tools.

This tool is one of the most valuable in a garage or on a job site. It is a great platform for holding tools like a bench grinder, a miter saw, an anvil, or even a vice. It also functions as a separate set of hands when your helper left you like helpers are want to do.Don’t mount a grinder or vice to your workbench. With 30 seconds of time you can set that messy thing up in the driveway or right nest to where you need the finished product… less mess, more workbench… who doesn’t need that??I love this tool!

Use this JawHorse all the time. Mounted some tools on plywood to use with this workstation. The jaws are nice and wide and will hold anything. It is very well designed and easy to use. It may be heavy for some, but does have wheels to pull it around if you desire.

I purchased the Jawhorse Sheetmaster on the off chance that the extra reach might come in handy on some projects. Turns out my first required breaking down a full plywood sheet. I’ve since made a 3/4″ table top with a 4×4 runner that clamps securely into the vise, giving me another use for the Jawhorse. The fact that the whole thing can be disassembled, and the Jawhorse collapsed, means both occupy a tiny footprint in my workshop/two-car garage; which also stores our vehicles. For a person just starting out in his first home, this is really going to come in handy on most of my future projects.

Haven’t used it much, but tried it out with a sheet of 3/4″ plywood. Made cutting the plywood much easier. I always pre-cut my plywood to rough size to make it much easier to manage on my tablesaw. This is a fantastic product. Nice job Rockwell, keep up the good work.
