The 8958 remains one of my favorite blades for cutting wallboard and wood. It provides a clean plunge cut and works well for lateral cutting, too. A different blade would be required for bi-metal apps but this does the job for wood, lath and wallboard.

I bought this and used it quite extensively, and am so happy that the blade really cuts and cuts and cuts. the blades I bought from Ebay only lasted a short time and I had to change blades. I’d say the Rockwell Blade lasts at leas 5 times longer than the other blades…
