This replacement kit completely resolved my issue of the blades coming loose due to vibration & contact with the work surface. I was ready to replace the entire Rockwell tool & just buy a different brand, but decided it was worth the risk to try this kit for around 8 bucks. Works as good as new now!

I own one of the older sonicrafter tools which uses a bolt to tighten the blades in place.The chuck kept loosening as I was using the tool and I had to stop and tighten the bolt repeatedly. I saw that there was a replacement part so I ordered it. It nowreally works great and I am now able to use my sonicrafter without the frustration of stopping to tighten the bolt. I am a woman who loves to work small jobs around the house and my sonicrafter is the best tool ever.

I lost my screw and flange in a wall and was disappointed that I could only find the newer redesigned fastening flange which was not recessed in the home improvement and hardware stores near me. I was elated to find the original recessed flange that came with my Sonicrafter at Rockwell.com and am very satisfied with these. I only wish the old style flange adapter that came with the kit (which I also lost) was available.
