I tried this adapter cable on two different laptops, two different HDMi cords and two different monitors and it would not work. I called Rocstor’s customer service to check if it needed a driver to operate and never received a call back.

This adapter initially installs as a USB camera – until you realize it simultaneously loads as a USB drive which has the right installation drivers you need. You will NOT find the drivers on their website and their support is poor.

This one is a sleeper. The driver you need to install this in stored on the adapter as a USB drive. Be sure to watch for a new drive appearing and using the exe to install the driver!
