Reading is surprisingly fast, but writing is a bit slow, so I am not 100% satisfied. Still, I like it very much compared to other products. There may be better products if you pay a lot of money, but compared to the amount I paid, this product is very satisfactory. I will recommend it to my friends

It’s not like there’s a user interface, so it really just is what it is. I’ve read reviews that say two drives connected at once will eject when a new one is plugged in, but I only ever have one drive on it so this hasn’t been an issue. Pretty sleek and light and can hang from the computer without doing or taking damage. Overall, very convenient.

I already have the Satechi hub, but I needed a few extra USB-A inputs. So I got this…I use it to connect my MIDI keyboard and drumpad, as well as my iLok and external harddrive with all my sound libraries to my Mac….So basically it only gets used during music-production related tasks…just one plug and everything is connected… It just works.

Works perfectly! Eliminates all of these other dongles that I used to have to use.

I want to continue to use some external disks with USB-A connectors with my new iMac 24, which only has USB-C. This hub has just what I need. Both USB-A and USB-C devices have worked reliably for me. The connection cable is too short. The hub dangles from the connector. This was fixed with a bit of two-sided tape.

I am primarily a Mac guy, so I wasn’t sure about compatibility issues with my laptop. I needed just a couple of USB ports and didn’t want to lose the one USB-C port I had. Works out perfectly. Recognized, no glitches or speed issues.
