Very nice set of tall glasses (15.5 oz) with a deeply engraved olive branch design. I was quite impressed with the quality of the glassware and the engraving/cutting of the design. Unlike surface etched glass, the deep engraving should wear well after repeated use and washings. They look just like fine crystal but the glass is a little thicker so they are not as fragile as fine crystal. They are also dishwasher safe which makes them appropriate for everyday use. These would great for entertaining or would also make a nice gift. They are a bit pricey ($41.99/set of 4)Rolf glass was founded by Rolf Poeting, a third generation glass manufacturer who emigrated to the US from Germany in the early 1980s (http://www.rolfglass.com/) .

These glasses were quite a surprise. They look elegant, feel substantial, and we have received many compliments on their appearance. After seeing and using them I still cannot believe that these are from Home Depot and not from some high end department store or silver or china shop. We have added an entire collection including martini, old fashion, highball, and water glasses.

These ROLF highball glasses are just so beautifully engraved. The feel of the glass in your hand, and the weight are quality features that will enhance your dinner table, whether for every day, or definitely for those special occasions when only your best dinnerware is used. They are made in the USA, and it definitely shows the quality of work that went into making the design engraving.

Love these glass (set of 4). They are very good weight and the thickness of these highball glass is not bad at all. Yes, there is slight variation when you weight each one on a scale, there was a variation in weight, which visual you can see in the base if you compare each one, but the overall how much it holds was very much the same, I used a measuring cup to see how much each would hold and that was consistent. These are nice hand made glass. I love the cut design of the olive branch design on them and how it feels on the exterior, very cleanly made and you can see the slight variation in each that makes each one nicely unique.

This is a quality set of glassware. The bottom of each glass is solid, so the weight is on the bottom of the glass, helping to keep it stable on an even surface. Dishwasher safe, I assume the design on each glass will hold up against multiple washes because it is engraved (you can feel it when you hold them). They have weight to them. They are not ideal for families with small children, these will shatter if they fall on any hard surface. I’d save them for having guests over and other occasions.

High quality etched glasses with weighted bottoms, these are stylish, functional, and durable. The etching is not only attractive but increases the friction for a better grip. The weighted bottom provides stability and prevents tipping. The glasses contain a good deal of liquid such as a full 12 ounce beverage with room at the top or room for ice without spilling over.
