Of course it takes time for this bit to cut through ceramic or tile, but the cut is clean & smooth. Pleased with the result.

Worked great. Drilled 6 holes in 3/8″ porcelain and could easily have done more. Recommend drilling the same size hole in a scrap piece of wood first to use as a jig, which makes starting the hole in the tile very easy. And use a spray bottle of water to keep the bit cool. Be patient, as it does take a few minutes.

Liked the way it cleared out the grounds. I bought three and have used only one. It has drilled fifteen pieces so far and still going. Great price and quality.

Drill cuts well. have drilled about 6 glass plates for wife’s hobbies. No way to center drill. Tends to walk as you start to drill. Once hole started, drills right thru.

I did not use this for glass or ceramic. but, it did what I wanted.

used some cheaper similar bits with smaller side ports that easily clogged. dumped those and switched to these which work great. worth the higher price.

It worked great and held up very well. The drill tip is very tough and did not wear down.

Worked well with the guide to cut through very hard porcelain tile. Downside is that it is only good for a few holes before the speed of cutting is greatly reduced.

I bought a few of these diamond-tipped drill bits to drill through newly-installed 3/8″ porcelain floor tile. I tried drilling first with the aid of a guide, but found it easier to just start drilling at a 45 degree angle to scratch the surface and then drill upright. I used my battery-operated P-C drill. I drilled four 5/16″ holes to install a Toto toilet, and then three more 5/16″ holes to install a door threshold. Each hole took about 20 minutes to drill, including switching to a mason bit to finish the holes, punching into the concrete pad below the tile. I kept the bits cool by applying a little water every 3 – 4 minutes. By the seventh hole, the drilling took a little longer as the drill bit wore down, but I was happy. that one bit could drill seven holes into some really hard porcelain tile.
