Worked as advertised. But drilling into porcelain tile can be tedious – 40 min to drill two holes. The bit cuts through ceramic tile with no problem. The sticky double sided pads are only good for one hole, and if I remember 12 ea are with the kit. Trying to find replacements could prove to be a challenge, as Home Depot sells the jig, but not the replacement sticky pads. Without the sticky pads there’s no way to keep the jig in place while drilling. I suppose you could use double sided tape, if push comes to shove to hold the jig to the tile. Overall the kit was a good buy, and would recommend. The drill bit was good for ten holes, and the bit looked like it could do more on ceramic, not porcelain tile. The instructions that came with the kit said the bit would last up to 10 holes. Use medium pressure and lots of water. The water tray empties quickly, so make sure you have a good squirt bottle to refill the tray as you drill.

It helped keep the bit straight, but the adhesive failed too quickly. I was drilling in uneven textured and hard porcelain tile, so that could be why. I still liked it. It helped start all the holes I had to drill. I was installing a shower door.

The guide worked great and made drilling thru glass a lot easier.

It is certainly not industrial quality, but it worked great for me. I was able to drill holes into the shower tile exactly where I wanted them, and the tiles didn’t crack. It is a slow drilling process, but it worked well.
