RYOBI introduces the Black Oxide Drill Bit Set (21-Piece). This RYOBI 21-Piece Black Oxide Drill Bit Set is a great kit for a wide variety of drilling applications. These bits are constructed out of high speed steel and feature a black oxide finish for maximum durability, and include sizes from 1/16 in. to 1/2 in. to meet the most common drilling needs. The Bonus Impact Rated Driving Kit (8-Piece) is built to withstand the high torque and demand that comes with the use of an impact driver. Easily interchange these bits in an impact driver or drill with the 1/4 in. hex shank. These 2 in. and 3.5 in. bits feature a TORSION ZONE that is engineered to absorb the high torque and demand that comes with the use of an impact driver. This 8-piece kit offers a variety of the most commonly used driving bits, such as Phillips, star, and square bits.

Bought these to drill a 1/4″ hole in a bed rail. Not so easy. This must have be some hard steel.I just did get 2 holes drilled. I believe the bits I used are shot. they were not up to this particular task and I know how to use bits.
