RYOBI introduces the 29-Piece Black Oxide Index Drill Bit Set. The bits are constructed out of high speed steel with a black oxide finish to offer superior durability. Compact case with easy open latches for effortless storage and mobility. The Bonus Impact Rated Driving Kit (8-Piece) is built to withstand the high torque and demand that comes with the use of an impact driver. Easily interchange these bits in an impact driver or drill with the 1/4 in. hex shank. These 2 in. and 3.5 in. bits feature a TORSION ZONE that is engineered to absorb the high torque and demand that comes with the use of an impact driver. This 8-piece kit offers a variety of the most commonly used driving bits, such as Phillips, star and square bits.

These bits aren’t that great- nothing special, kinda brittle so be careful w side loads. The big deal is that way bigger sizes than you’ll typically find in an inexpensive set- up to 1/2”. I needed something a little smaller than 1/2 so having a selection was perfect for my project.

I picked this up since I needed an index that had 1/64th inch increments. Ryobi has always made excellent tools so I expect this to hold up just as well… I have an 18 volt set of tools that are up to 30 years old, and my only complaint is that their original Saws-all has a Allen nut for the blade, they did change that years and years ago.
