There were three pumps at this particular Home Depot all the boxes appeared to have been opened. And I observe that there must have been some parts missing from the two pumps I didn’t take. The pump function the way I needed and I had the parts for my old bump that made it easy to adapt to my tile saw

I wasn’t expecting much from this low cost pump and that’s what I got. Head height with 1/4″ ID tube was ~3 ft. Once I filled the tube with water the weight of the returning water helped it work, but the flow was minimal.

This pump is primarily designed to be used with a tile cutter. It works great for that purpose. It pumps the proper amount of water needed to keep the tile wet and the blade cool while cutting. Only a small amount of water is required for this purpose and this pump does the job perfectly. Some are complaining that this pump doesn’t pump a lot of water and it won’t pump uphill very far. If that is what you want to do this is not the right kind of pump.

I bought this pump because the external hose fitting on my Ryobi tile saw broke(cheap plastic.) The pump does it’s job of recirculating water to wet the saw blade and seems to provide adequate flow. It is compact and has suction cup feet to keep it a special spot in the tile saw tub. My only complaint is that the instructions are not clear on how to remove the cover to access the filter. It should slide off and clip back on but when I tried, I met enough resistance that I decided to wait until I really need to clean the filter because it feels like it might break(like cheap plastic) if I have to pry it off.

Can only pump water a max of 2-3 feet high in a plastic hose.

The original pump on my tranquility fountain/cat drinking fountain went kaput almost immediately. This pump fit right in the slot and with the adjustable steam, we set it perfectly for the “kids” to drink from. It is currently set on the highest output setting.
