I bought this stand at the same time I bought a Ryobi Sliding Compound Miter Saw. I am very glad I did, and would recommend whomever contemplates buying the saw to also invest in the stand! The stand is a little heavy, but that makes it all the more sturdy. It is easy to set up, and securing the miter saw to the stand was very easy. The ability to extend the stand either side makes working with long pieces of lumber so much easier. Now retired, I am in the process of finally creating my woodworking shop and both these tools are essential to my ability to build the necessary furniture. It dawned on me in the last week that all my tools are from the Ryobi family. Great equipment!

I bought one of these at least 10 years ago. It’s a rock. Good design, solid construction, and just plain solid all the way around. I use it often outdoors on uneven ground and I never think twice. So why only 4 stars – It’s really heavy, and I move this around a lot. Only complaint. If that’s not a big deal for you, buy it and you’ll love it. When I bought this it was on sale for $89. So if I’d reviewed it back then it would have been a 5 star no matter what.
