Good value! These perform very well when new, and have enough carbide that they will allow several re-sharpenings. As with ALL router bits–regardless of price– keeping them clean and lubricated is essential to peak performance. I’ve found these economical bits last a very long time with reasonable care.

Cut very nice. Too soon to see how long before they burn, but trimmed up some pine real nice and clean.I have not tried them on hardwoods yet.Not a mistake to purchase these .I cant rate these higher because I haven’t used them enough yet.

I bought it for the chamfer bit which worked out well.The rest of this review is about Home Depot’s router bit selection. There is a choice of the excellent $30 Diablo bit or to get a smaller Ryobi (but certainly adequate for softwoods) you buy a set of 4 bits for $30. I like the smaller bit but now have about a dozen various roundover bits I seldom use sitting in the drawer. Why don’t you sell the smaller bits separately?

I only had one project for this tool so far, but I will say that the router I needed worked very well to cut a couple hundred feet of cabinet grade ply. The bearing rolled smoothly and it cut as well as I expected. I do question how long it will stay sharp at this price point, but time will tell.
