These easy out bits did a great job with removing five wood screws that have been stripped out in my door hinges. The key I found was making sure that you properly drilled out the stripped phillips head and made a large enough hole as well as picking out the correct easy out bit. Once that was determined the five screws came right out very easy.

I used it to extract a broken screw. It works very well. 5 stars

I wasn’t sure if this was going to work as the drill didn’t seem like it was going deep enough into the screw I was trying to remove, but it did and I got it out. Worked like a charm.

I didn’t help me with my stripped screw problem. I don’t blame the product, it might be good but it didn’t help me solve my issue.

My purchase decision was based on other reviews. The price is right and they come in a nice hard case. I purchased these to have on hand because the cheap zinc coated screws they sell at HD tend to shear when screwed into a wall. I ended up having to reposition the shelves because I did not have a screw extractor. Lesson? Buy stainless steel screws and have a set of extractors BEFORE you start your project. My only fault with this product is that there isn’t much flat surface to grip on the smallest extractor. I don’t think an adjustable wrench will work as shown on the package. It would be better if the extractors had 1/4-inch hex ends.

It worked to remove the bolt that was broken. I had to look at a YouTube to find out the correct way to do this, but it worked.

I brought these to extract some screws that I stripped. I’m so happy I brought these, they worked as advertised. Highly recommended

We had a screw that was over torqued and stripped in a chair. So I got this kit and was able to get the screw out in just a few minutes. Be sure to drill the stripped screw before using this. Once you see the screw turning with the drill bit you know it’s time to use this.

These extractors work exactly as intended. As others have stated in their reviews, these will work best with new construction where the screw head has been stripped beyond use. I picked these up to extract a 6/32 1 1/2″ Robertson machine screw (using the #1 bit) from an electrical outlet that had been stripped. When drilled correctly first, and the extractor then used in reverse to unscrew, this worked when all other solutions failed. I recommend using a quality small drill bit first to clear the cavity. Definitely part of my toolbox from now on.
