This door hing jig works with a router. I was able to make professional looking cutouts on the doors that I have been installing. This is a great Idea. I really appreciate the extra hardware that come with the jig that is used to install a door hinge, including the router bit. There is a built in router depth guide on the side so that one can set the perfect router depth. Note, that the jig is all plastic.

In use the plastic mold did not hold up. Instructions for use were lacking and for a mediocre craftsman I had problems.

This worked great butv4 stars only because it was assembled wrong ..there’s a washer that needs to be moved behind tightening screw to the other side of jig ..if you don’t move it the screw head will Mar the door finish
