Worked very well to cut granite with a diamond blade. Be aware that dust control and a N95 respirator is required!

First time use of an angle grinder, but was very impressed by what it can do. I had no problems. I was cutting up heavy duty plastic from an old outdoor playhouse, and some small related metal rods.

Works very well but motor is not as powerful as I had expected. No complaints so far.

I got this to grind subway tile for a backsplash — it should be noted that I am a total newbie to home improvement projects. It didn’t really do the trick for me. I wish I’d sprung for a wet saw (or just rented one). For one, this grinder doesn’t come with a blade that’s appropriate for tile, so you’ll have to add another ~$10 for a separate tile-appropriate blade. Even with an appropriate blade, it’s difficult to use this with much precision or delicacy. If you’re cutting around electrical outlets, for example, large pieces of the tile will fly off from time to time, and you’ll have wasted a tile. Even when the cuts succeed, they come out pretty sloppy. Again, this is coming from a total beginner, but looking back, I wish I’d spent a smidge more money and gotten a wet saw.

I got this to replace my Ryobi that just bit the dust. I mean I worked that old one for 12 years and it finally said it wanted to retire. This one I’m sure will live up to the Ryobi standard. My old one worked in 17 different states including Hawaii for 3 years. Good angle grinder.

This grinder is good in all ways except one, it is extremely loud but other than that I love it.

As I understand the instruction manual this tool is for grinding only. Grinding and cutting wheels have a different configuration that requires a different flange nut. Many other brands sell this flange nut separatly, Dewalt for starters. I attached a cutting wheel to the Ryobi and it was not balanced. I removed the cutting wheel, returned the item and will purchase a tool more suitable for my usage. Also, the switch on/off seems hazardous. My preference would be a trigger type on/off. If it kicks back and you drop it at least the it will shut off. My two cents…

Very good for the price. Suits my needs just fine for welding & fabricating at home.

I purchased this specifically to cut cattle panels I am building a fence with. Unfortunately, the owner’s manual says not to use any type of cutting wheel with it so… Hope I eventually have another use for it.

Easy to change the blades, everything that you need to tart to work is included in the package. Affordable price for the reasonable quality.

Plenty of powers to cut through thick screws that were otherwise not coming off.
