No major issues at all – works as intended and great for DYI/homeowners; instruction manual clearly states not for cutting – so if you need to do that than buy a more expensive version; used it a few times for sharpening my hatchet and axe which worked like a charm super easy; does not create too much movement so easy to maneuver it; only con from my standpoint – but i suppose it is a safety measure is the buttons to activate it seems awkward (large glove sized hands). I suppose it fits the bill for the price range

Cheap and has worked well over several projects. I like that the retaining-ring wrench stores neatly in the handle.

Strong, gets the job done.

Update: After buying a new wheel with for a 5/8 arbor that did not fit I have found it really takes a 4-1/2 wheel with a 7/8 center hole. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you this. All it says is it’s 4-1/2 with 5/8 arbor. Very poor of Ryobi to not clearly state what replacement wheel to purchase.

This was a gift so I have not used it. The person who received it simply said it worked very well and he really likes it.

Worked fine for me. I just had a small job of smoothing out a concrete patch repair I had done on my patio. I had never used a grinder before but it was easy to handle and I was glad to learn a new skill. The purchase price for this model was good since it would have cost about the same to rent one from HD. A good investment.
