Comfortable to use and plenty of power for the casual user. Seems constructed well, the rotating trigger and handle is an excellent feature.

The right tool for the job. Easy to use. The rotating handle is a great feature that makes it even easier to use.

The price to acquire was right and it has done the job for which it was purchased. I have not had it long enough or used it extensively enough to determine its longterm durability. The rotating handle adds a level of comfort to its use.

This was actually a pretty decent grinder. I had one for about 2 1/2 years. It gave up the ghost about a week ago after a lot of heavy use. Not industrial use but some some heavy use nonetheless. Used it cutting fence posts, steal square & round stock, grinding, & buffing. Was going to buy another but the rigid 15 amp was on sale. Seriously thought about getting another one anyway as the price is really good for the product but the 15amp is better suited for the amount of use I need. Unless you’re using it for industrial purposes it is a great deal.

I’ve only used it once but so far so good. The thinner end grip and trigger are very comfortable and the twist handle is a fantastic feature. There is a little play in that handle, as you might suspect, but it’s very minimal and no problem. Well worth it. Also, 3 yr warranty over the usual 1 yr.I worked a job where I used a few different brands of grinders. Now, each brand’s model can vary a lot I am sure but…The DeWalt was the worst. Motor was rough and it got hot. Makita was much better, and the Metabo was the best (German co. but just bought out by Hitachi so don’t know about current ones). This Ryobi rates right up there between the Makitia and Metabo and the comfy handle might put it at the top. Again, amongst the specific models I tried.

It worked as advertised, but it is Very noisy, I returned it and purchased another from a different location. The one I purchased was less money and much quieter.
