Did exactly what I wanted it to do

A good variety of bit sizes, but I could have used a larger one to install screws for a window security grill. Make sure your drill has plenty of torque to drive in the screw. You cannot back it out and try again.

I used this bit to successfully install 12 three inch screws when installing security grills on my house. Now i need to remove the grills paint them.I found success removing the one way screws with this Ryobi driver….the key to this however was to use a hammer drill on slowest setting while applying as much pressure as possibleagainst the screw. The counter clockwise hammer will set the reverse hooks of the driver into the screw head & back the screw out of the wall…….using maximum pressure against the screw head &slowest reverse speedsetting in hammer setting is of key importance! I give this tool 4 star rating because of the lack of detailed instruction on packaging & the need for creative thinking& a secialized tool to find success.

It will install one way screws. Alittel hard to remove them , have to make cut in screws to remove.

This did the job once I’d prepped the non-removable screws. First I bought AvantiPro metal cut off disks, 3″diameter, 1/16″ thickness. Attached one to the drill and created a deep cross cut in the screw heads so they looked like phillips head screws. This eliminated the gradation which otherwise thwarted removal. Then a shot of WD-40 and a few whacks with a hammer. In one case it took the additional step of hammering a putty knife between the security door and the screw head. Then it was ready for this Ryobi tool. Applying some serious pressure and going easy on the electric drill’s throttle spun all three screws right out.

I worked great! Used it to remove and re-install a bunch of screws and it worked better than expected. Still trying to figure out what the cone thing is for. I didn’t use it so I could see to center the bit in the slot on the one-way-screw and it worked great. Just remember to apply pressure so it will grab the screw.

Very easy to use, will be useful if the one way screws need to be removed.

Should come with a small case to keep all the parts together…would be very helpful.

The screw remover worked like a charm in removing one way screws to a security door. The key is to use the appropriate size bit and adjust and tighten at the proper depth. You MUST drill slowly with appropriate amount of pressure applied to drill on screw.
