So far I have been very impressed with this bandsaw. Cuts as designed, is not very loud and I think it’s size are perfect for my needs in a garage.

It worked for the project I had. It is noisy and does vibrate, but it cuts well once you have the blade set up well. The store did not sell the correct replacement blades, so I had to order them online. Great for the price

I am pleased with my products. Nothing can touch Ryobi!!!!!

Used about 10 times, works good for the money however it uses a 62″ blade which is hard to find compared to more common 64.5″. My store doesn’t even keep them stocked despite selling the actual saw.

Very durable and easy to use. Better than a JETT.

FOR THE PRICE IT PERFORMED BETTER THAN EXPECTED I’M VERY HAPPY WITH THE SAW

I love this thing. It has rekindled my interest in geometry and drawing plans for woodworking. It cuts quickly and accurately. Set up out of the box can be just a little tricky if you’re not accustomed to using a band saw, but don’t get frustrated. You’ll pick up quickly. Once you do, you’ll be able to make all the cuts you’ve been trying to make with a jigsaw. Just be mindful of the depth of the saw. I have found it to be plenty enough for small woodworking projects, but larger area pieces may need to be maneuvered to accomplish the cut. It seems to have no trouble cutting plywood or other stock of a similar thickness at all. The cutting speed is comfortable for me. The included blade has performed well so far in terms of smoothness of cuts. I’ve used it for plywood, cedar, pine, and MDF and it does well.

I couldn’t be happier. After replacing the crap blade that comes with the saw, it is doing a fine job. The tracking for the blade is simple and it stays on track.

I have a need to cut down a 24″x24″ 1 inch thick aluminum plate into various shapes for a CNC machine I’m building. I researched various options for cutting such a thick plate and tried to figure out the best way to make the cuts. I had a jigsaw available and tried to cut through a 12″ length of scrap stock but even with a lower TPI count blade for aluminum it was a very slow process. Took me the better part of a few hours to make it though. Maybe a mm or two per minute. Extending that to the larger plate, I really couldn’t see that as a viable option. So I did my research on other options and looked to see how effective a band saw would be. Watched a few Youtube videos and did some google searching and it seemed that folks had pretty good success with thick aluminum on a band saw. One video in particular was specifically about this band saw and in the comments I saw mention that one person had cut 1″ thick aluminum on it with no problems.Well that was good enough for me, off I went to Home Depot and picked one of these up. Got it home, had it unboxed and assembled in 20 minutes. Took it outside to the workbench, clamped it down and fired it up. Took the 1x1x12 aluminum cutoff I had made with the jigsaw and cut off a couple of pieces with no problems in a matter of seconds! It’s like I was cutting a stick of butter…Initial impressions are very good!

Seems okay. The blade has jumped off twice now and the tensioning mechanism doesn’t seem to do anything. The knob just turns freely, even if you remove the tension with the lever.

This is a great saw as long as you have reasonable expectations for it. This works great for small projects such as cutting plate and platter blanks for my wood lathe. It is not a professional level machine nor was it meant to be.

Great saw , easy setup ,!

I bought this little saw because I have need of one but do not have room for one like I used to have. I have many Ryobi products and find this saw as the others to perform as expected and to be built fairly ruggedly.

Good quality band saw. Not for heavy duty service though. Cuts fine through pine and soft woods. I wouldn’t expect it to perform very well through anything thicker than a 2×4. Better than a hobby saw, but still a light duty saw. It comes mostly assembled. You have to install the cutting table which is very simple. Purchased through HomeDepot.com. Delivered to my front door very promptly.

My first bandsaw and I’m very happy with it so far. Very easy to set up and learn; made cuts ranging from delicate scroll cuts in 1/8 in plywood to curved cuts in 2x4s for furniture project. Will use for many projects to come!

Drill is very easy to use and is lightweight too! I like Ryobi tools as they are dependable!

Installed in a snap. A buyer might want to buy an additional blade with more teeth for finer scroll work

My wife and sons got this for me for Father’s Day this summer. I set it up on a workmate style portable bench, and have used it for a number of projects. I’e used it both for woodworking as well doing some clean up work on 3D printed parts. It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it with ease. A great little compact band saw!
