I like this drill. It works for my purpose and it is lightweight enough for me to hold and drill pilot holes. Took one star off because the trigger lock has never worked. The button is permanently recessed. So I was sent a defective drill. Possibly returned by another. I did not want the hassle of returning this. I doubt I will use that trigger lock feature anyway but that is not the point, is it?

This is perfect for what I needed- a small drill to take care of stuff around the house. It’s a great size, easy to carry around, and has enough power to get normal repairs done.

I decided to buy this one because it’s light & have already another Ryobi tools & am happy with it.I have a Makita codeless drill but it was heavy & batteries died so quick. Considered to buy new batteries but I decided to buy the drill with code. Grad I did.

I purchased this on a whim because it was cheap and I needed it immediately to finish a project at my sister’s home. I had my cordless with me but left the charger at home – of course it died in the middle of my project. So we ran to Home Depot and picked this one up. I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight and powerful it is so I will definitely continue using it. The power cord is a bit short so make sure you have an extension cord handy.

I like a corded drill/driver for around the house because access to an outlet is ubiquitous and I don’t want to use up battery life unnecessarily. This tool feels like part of my hand when I use it. It’s light, the grip is comfortable and the speed control is flexible. Inserting and removing bits and drivers is really easy, too.

I haven’t really put this drill to the test. I only used it to put some screws in predrilled holes. I’m giving it 4 stars based on features and appearance. It comes with a carrying case you will need to purchase bits. Its my first corded drill. I am tired of replacing batteries.

I’m a 74 yr old female and needed a drill for small jobs around the house and have never had luck with cordless items. Clerk recommended this so I got it. For me it worked great. Small and light weight I could use it for long time. Doesn’t have a lot of power but worked great for me.

I needed something reliable and affordable – and I found it. I’m not building a skyscraper, but my home projects just got easier from using my new drill. powerful and easy to use! cordless drills are nice, but this corded drill finishes what the cordless just can’t. I highly recommend this

For people who have access to an electrical outlet the less expensive drills get you more power and are more reliable.
