It’s not a bad buy if it’s not something your going to use every day. it’s some what on the cheap side, but what I paid for it I shouldn’t expect more.

This drill press is solid, works well, and is portable. I like that so I can easily lug it from one place to another in my workroom. The handles and controls are exactly where you’d expect them. The light and the laser hole-centering feature work great. Quiet, too. One feature to remember is that the Z-axis throw on this model is only 2″ (50mm), so frequent vertical adjustments are required when changing tools of different lengths, esp. with woodworking, and you can’t go through anything much bigger than a 2×4 in one shot.

Love this drill press. Works great. I do wish there wasn’t so much play in table surface.

I have a large drillpress, but this is nice for little stuff. Seems to have enough power for what I need it to do.

I love it. Works great! Very sturdy and is just what I needed

The drill press works well and the chuck inside the spindle seems to be pretty tight so I get very little wobble compared to some of the other table top drill presses I have had. Im pleased with it. The laser alignment seems to be dead on and easy to see.

I researched several drill presses in the under $500 catagory and found this one to best suit my needs. It works well, however, there is a little bit of a ‘rattle’ when it is turning and I do have the drill press bolted down to the bench. Not sure what it is. That probably should not happen, but I can live with for the price and my occassional usage. I just needed a straight hole drill using a drill and forstner bit. If I were more serious about woodworking I would have bought the Fox 1/2 HP34″ Radial drill.
