No assembly, lightweight. Great for those small areas! Only concern I have is that the item seems to get hot relatively quickly during use.

This little unit does a real decent job as long as you only use it for what it’s intended to be used for. Small restricted areas and it does quite well. Finding replacement pads is a bit of a challenge. Home depot does not stock them and really had no idea how to get them or even seemed concerned. They are available through several sources and the part # is 203934001. Good luck.

Sandpaper does not last long. It thins out on pointed areas. It was frustrating. It also heated up.

This tool was easy to use, light weight. I needed it to get between spindles on my deck before painting. I am pleased with my purchase.

Does a nice job and fits into tighter spaces than my orbital sander. It has very small oscillations so it doesn’t vibrate much and takes a little more time to sand. Was a little dissapointed to see adhesive sandpaper instead of hook and loop. The extra paper I purchased at the same time won’t work. Not a bad little sander though for tighter spaces and corners.

I purchased an earlier version of this tool many years ago but didn’t use it much until recently and then burnt it out while using it to prep my front door for refinishing. It is a handy and useful tool but could be so much more if Ryobi would address the problem with the sanding pads not sticking to the tool pad and the corners of the tool pad rounding over after just a little use.Make sure you have a wide roll of very good double-sided tape on hand so you can get the sanding pads to stay on the tool.Seems to me a hook and loop arrangement would be MUCH better. On the plus side it was an ideal weight and size for my project.

The sander is excellent. I’m having trouble getting replacement sand paper. Help

Did the job that I needed it to do. Just wish that the pad/triangle part was just a few centimeters ahead of the actual machine to reach places such as under cleats or handles.

This detail sander was what I had been looking for. Light weight, easy to handle got into tight spots easily enough. Follow instructions, use finist sandpaper needed, little pressure. You can, And probably will get cross-grain scratches, but I found that those where easy enough to sand out.

Does an excellent job getting into the small areas needing sanding

Nice, lightweight, and comes with an assortment of sanding pads. The only downside is how loud it is.

Works great in tight corners where bigger palm sanders wont get

Over heats after about 1 hour of use. The felt pad cane off when removing the adhesive sand paper. Good price but have some super glue on hand to glue the felt pad back on

No assembly necessary . It’s seems to do fairly well with the project I bought it for ..The unit gets warm after about 10 minutes of use
