This item is simple to use and gets the job done. The pins work as stated to hold the level in place.

I am starting building a brick wall, bought this product to start testing a laser level instead of a traditional level, for the price it’s an good buy.Very useful for indoor and for light outdoor work.

I own two small Ryobi laser levels – this is my fav. It can be mounted via the included tacks (drywall, wood, etc), magnet (metal), or even suction cups (glass, very smooth surfaces). I’ve mounted this all ways and they all work great. (For the suction cups they are spring-loaded, you have to press down on the suction cup mounts… or just simply read the instructions)It also comes with an angle finder… what I like to refer as the “thingy-ma-do-bob”. It’s incredibly handy when you need to incorporate angles. Of course, you can also lay the unit flat on a surface to make sure it’s level all ways. The laser is fine. Some folks say it’s not bright enough. It runs off two AAA batteries, so you are not going to see the laser from space, nor will you see it 50 feet away unless it’s pretty dark. I think it does just fine. If I need the laser to be seen 20+ feet away, I take the lighting down or do the job at dusk. If you want a brilliant laser that can be seen from the dark side of the moon, you won’t get it from a $30 laser level, so please keep your expectations reasonable. That being said, I have never had a problem with not being able to see the laser line projected across a room given reasonable lighting.I definitely recommend this little unit. For hanging pictures and shelves, it’s my go-to level.

The laser worked well. Didn’t like that you had to keep the button pressed down, made it hard to move it and it’s easy to stop pressing.

I’ve been using this laser level for almost 4 years now and have been very happy with it. I like that it has the two tabs that can press into drywall without making too much of a mark. The suction cups do not work well. I’ve not had any luck with them. I usually just use the pins that come with it and don’t have any issues. The laser is a nice and bright. It could be a little brighter though. I used this to hang pictures at a perfect angle going up my stairwell. Overall, I like this laser level and it does meet my expectations. Please hit thumbs up if this was helpful.

Did it’s job well. Would have liked the Sheetrock pins to be tethered to the unit. It sucked to climb up and down the ladder after dropping them.

Perfect for lining up blocks for building.

I bought the laser to put up a couple of pictures and it worked great. It was easy for me to get an accurate measurement using the ruler on the back and the lever.

I bought this 2 months ago. I’ve used it many times for a variety of projects. Hanging pictures and leveling the framework for a drop ceiling. My main reason for buying this was to help me level my floor. I knew exactly the heights of the supports.

This is good, prob 3.5 stars, the main issue is that it doesn’t stick very well to the wall (I end up using painters tape), there are pins that can be used but I rarely would be ok with putting those little holes where I am trying to stick it. Otherwise works as intended
